Zina Gleason

Zina graduated cum laude from California State University, Long Beach (CSULB) where she
majored in Criminal Justice and minored in Child Psychology.

Zina finished her undergraduate degree early and took a year off to work with at-risk youth in
Juvenile Hall and young women living in group homes. She also volunteered with Proposition 36
first time drug offenders with the Santa Ana Probation department. After seeing a different side
of the justice system, Zina went to law school with the desire to help families in crisis. Zina
earned her Juris Doctor in Law from Western State University, College of Law (WSU) in 2009.
While in law school she worked for various family law firms, obtained a specialized certificate in
family law mediation, served as the President of the Human Rights Association and participated
in Moot Court.

After law school, Zina opened her family law mediation firm, Redefining Divorce, where she
supports families through amicable separations. In 2019, Zina opened her second company,
The ZBG Conflict Resolution Academy, where she embarked on public speaking engagements
about communicating through conflict. In 2020, Zina was designated an award-winning
international public speaker. Zina also earned the accolade of Top Family Law Attorney of the
Year (2020) by the IOATP. In 2026, IOATP again awarded Zina the Empowered Woman of the
Year for her work in the family law community and her contributions to her local community.

Outside the office, Zina enjoys spending time with her two young children.
