Madalyn was born and raised in Southern California. She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Arizona State University’s remote program, graduating summa cum laude. After completing her undergraduate studies, Madalyn relocated to Seattle, Washington, where she attended Seattle University School of Law’s evening program while working full time.
During law school, Madalyn served as an editor for the Seattle Journal of Technology, Environmental & Innovation Law, honing her legal writing and analytical skills. She also focused her academic and professional efforts on family law as a legal research assistant, gaining substantial experience advocating for domestic violence survivors, low-income and vulnerable individuals.
Following graduation, Madalyn returned to California and worked remotely as a Trademark Examiner for the United States Patent and Trademark Office. In that role, she drafted extensive legal memoranda addressing complex intellectual property issues, further strengthening her legal drafting skills, analytical abilities, and attention to detail.
In October 2025, Madalyn joined Moshtael Family Law, where she practices exclusively in family law and handles a wide range of complex matters. She is deeply committed to guiding clients through the legal and emotional challenges that accompany family law disputes. Drawing on her advocacy and analytical skills, Madalyn provides thoughtful, strategic solutions tailored to each client’s unique needs.
