Job Overview:

As a Senior Associate Attorney, you will play a crucial role in managing our caseload and overseeing a legal team comprised of a senior attorney, junior attorney, and a paralegal. Your responsibilities will encompass various legal tasks, including preparing complex pleadings, corresponding with clients, experts, and opposing attorneys, and representing clients in court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.

Key Responsibilities:

• Efficiently manage a diverse caseload.
• Supervise the legal team, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are appropriately delegated.
• Review all materials before submission for filing or service.
• Prepare intricate legal pleadings.
• Craft clear and professional correspondence with clients and legal professionals.
• Meet with clients and experts.
• Act as a steadfast advocate for clients during court hearings, depositions, and settlement conferences.

Qualifications:

• Possess a minimum of 7 years of family law practice experience.
• Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of the California Family Code, Code of Civil Procedure, and Evidence Code.
• Showcase extensive courtroom experience, including evidentiary hearings and trials.
• Exhibit strong legal writing and research skills.
• Have prior leadership and management experience.
• Be proficient in using Mac OS, Microsoft Office, Xspouse/Xarrears software.
