She earned her Juris Doctorate from Western State College of Law. Before law school, Racquelle served the public as a JusticeCorps member at the Norwalk Court Resource Center in Los Angeles County, where she assisted self-represented litigants in their family law or unlawful detainer matters. Her service to the self-help center solidified her passion for family law and desire to help navigate individuals through what can seem to be a complicated and intimidating legal process. During law school, Racquelle had the unique opportunity to study intellectual property and copyright law abroad at the University of Barcelona and worked for a top intellectual property firm in Beijing,China. This international experience has given her a global perspective that she brings to her practice of family law. Also in law school she earned the opportunity to enroll in honors legal writing where she focused heavily on her research and writing skills and earned a Witkin award for Corporate Finance and Accounting for Lawyers.
Racquelle takes an educational approach with clients, as she believes it is important that the client understands their rights and expectations each step of the way. Her goal is to understand her clients’ goals and take the initiative to reach those goals. While it is always ideal to resolve issues amicably, she understands that an amicable resolution may not always be possible. As such, Racquelle is ready and willing to present a case in court aggressively.
Racquelle is empathetic to the effects of any legal situation, and offers her support to this intimidating chapter clients go through. In her personal life, Racquelle enjoys spending time with her husband and their infant daughter, which helps her understand the importance of family dynamics in her practice.
